New York : There has been a stir in America due to the death of another Indian origin student. The Indian Embassy in New York has announced the death of Shreyas Reddy Benigeri, an Indian-origin student in Ohio. It said a police investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected so far. Earlier last Sunday, Neel Acharya, an Indian student studying at Purdue University in Indiana in the United States, was found dead after being reported missing. This happened when another Indian student named Vivek Saini was brutally murdered with a hammer while being a homeless drug addict inside a store in Lithonia, Georgia.
This 25-year-old Indian student recently completed his MBA degree in the United States. Attacker Julian Faulkner had hit him on the head 50 times with a hammer. Saini, a part-time clerk at a store that sheltered Faulkner, took pity on the accused for about two days and provided him with chips, Coke, water and even a jacket for warmth. Saini was concerned about his safety and requested Faulkner to leave or face police intervention. Police arriving at the scene then found Faulkner standing over Saini’s lifeless body.
