Tel Aviv: A fierce war has been going on between Israel and Hamas since October 7 and the Israeli army is continuously advancing in Gaza. Meanwhile, many right-wing organizations in Israel have started increasing pressure on the Benjamin Netanyahu government to allow Jewish people to settle in Gaza after the end of the war. He said that the settlement of Jewish people in the region is linked to security. These organizations have called on the Netanyahu government to resettle the Jewish population in the areas immediately after the war ends.
Hamas attacked in Ashkelon
The coalition of right-wing organizations has called on the Israeli government to take the initiative for resettlement in northern Gaza as a first step and then extend it to former Jewish settlements such as Nitzan, El Sinai and Dugit which are close to Ashkelon. Let us tell you that on October 7, Hamas had launched a major attack in Ashkelon bordering Gaza. Javiv Elimelech of the Nahla movement said in a statement on Friday that there is a need for widespread resettlement of the Jewish population throughout Gaza and that the decision to hand Gaza back following the Oslo Accords must be rescinded.
2 fuel tankers will go to Gaza every day
Meanwhile, Israel’s NSA said that the country’s War Cabinet has agreed to allow two fuel tankers to enter the Gaza Strip every day. NSA Tzachi Hanegbi described the amount of fuel as ‘very small’ and said that the fuel would be provided for Gaza’s communication systems and water and sewage services. He said the aim was to prevent the spread of the disease without hampering Israel’s ability to continue the war against Hamas militants. He said that this amount of fuel is only 2 to 4 percent of the amount of fuel sent to Gaza on normal days.
