1. Three attacks on Hindu temples in January

2- Israel-Hamas War

This year i.e. in 2023, a special court of Pakistan sent former Prime Minister Imran Khan to judicial custody for 14 days in a corruption case related to Al-Qadir Trust. This case is related to a transaction worth about Rs 5000 crore, which was transferred to Pakistan by Britain’s National Crime Agency after recovering it from a Pakistani businessman. Imran Khan has also been convicted in the Toshakhana corruption case and is in jail since August 5. Violence broke out in Pakistan on 9 May in support of him.
