NTA issued guidelines
According to TOI report, NTA has issued guidelines regarding JEE Mains exam 2024. According to this, if a student even takes a toilet break during the examination, he will have to come back and get the biometrics done again. Along with this, he will also have to get checked again. Not only this, this rule will apply to all invigilators, teachers and employees who are in the room or are coming.
Record applications have come
Let us tell you that a record number of applications have come in this year’s JEE Mains exam 2024. Along with this, this is happening for the first time that Joint Entrance Examination Mains is being organized in Bastar of Chhattisgarh and Tura of Meghalaya. For the first time, the number of applications for JEE Mains has crossed one million and about 12.3 lakh registrations have been done for the first session. There is a strong possibility that this count will increase further in the April session.
Measures taken for security
In this regard, NTA says that the National Testing Agency has now become a very big exam conducting body, where about 1.2 crore applications are received for various examinations every year. In such a situation, these strict arrangements are being made to increase the security of JEE Mains and other entrance examinations. The centers from where any kind of complaints regarding security are coming are also being removed.
