The investigation into the murder of Shri Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi has intensified. To arrest the accused of this murder, NIA has conducted a search operation by raiding 31 places in Haryana and Rajasthan early on Wednesday morning. Let us tell you that on December 5, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead at his residence in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Following the order of the Home Ministry, NIA started investigating this murder.

NIA raid continues on the hideouts of suspects linked to the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Several teams of the agency have carried out this operation in collaboration with the state police forces. The move comes days after the NIA took over the case from the Rajasthan Police in view of the involvement of high-profile gangsters in the murder.
This is how the murder took place
The murder of Karni Sena chief Gogamedi was captured on CCTV. The footage showed two men firing multiple bullets at the Karni Sena chief. At the same time, another person was standing at the door. Gogamedi, who was injured by the bullet, was seen falling on the floor and was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The Gogamedi security personnel injured in the incident also died later.

One of the accused involved in the murder of Gogamedi died during the firing. At the same time, two shooters Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji were arrested in Chandigarh on 9 December. The responsibility of Gogamedi’s murder was taken by gangster Rohit Godara, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. According to information, there was a dispute between Godara and Gogamedi and officials suspect that this may have led to the murder. Another woman has also been arrested in this murder case, who along with her husband allegedly provided weapons and arranged accommodation to the accused.
