IMD Weather Update: The weather patterns are changing in North India. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms over Central and Eastern India during the next few days. There is a possibility of scattered hailstorm with light rain in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern UP during the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Odisha on 14 and 15 February. There may also be heavy rain in south-west and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, during the last 24 hours, hailstorm occurred at different places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Cotton and other crops have been damaged due to unseasonal rains along with hailstorm in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. There may be sporadic rain and hailstorm in these places even today.
Fog seen in these states today
According to the Meteorological Department, dense clouds were seen in many states of the country this morning also. Dense fog was seen in different parts of Punjab and Odisha. Moderate fog was seen over isolated parts of East Madhya Pradesh and light fog over isolated parts of Delhi, Bihar and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. According to the Meteorological Department, Amritsar 50; Pradeep-50 of Odisha; Jabalpur-200 of East Madhya Pradesh; Delhi’s Palam and Safdarjung-500; 500 meter visibility was recorded in Panra-500, Vijayawada, Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog can be seen in these areas during the next 24 hours.

Delhi-NCR is likely to be partly cloudy during the day with a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. Delhiites felt cold on Tuesday morning. The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi on Monday was 7.3 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees less than the average temperature of this season.
