Encounter in Rajouri
Rajouri Encounter: There is news of the martyrdom of an Indian Army Major in an encounter with terrorists in Rajouri, Jammu. According to sources, two army soldiers have also been martyred. Security forces have killed a terrorist in the encounter. Due to it being a forested area, the security forces are facing a lot of difficulties.
Input was received about terrorists hiding
Actually, security forces had received input about two to three terrorists hiding in the forests of village Baji under Kalakot police station of Rajouri. Based on this input, the Indian Army and the Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a massive search operation. During the search, the terrorists started firing on the security forces, after which an encounter started in that area.
The area is being monitored with drones and helicopters
In this operation, the security forces are keeping an eye on the terrorists in the area with the help of drones and helicopters. It is being told that due to it being a forest area, it is a big challenge for the security forces. There is firing from both sides. Three days ago, a terrorist was killed by security forces in Budhal village of Rajouri, after which a continuous search operation was going on.
