BJP may release the first list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections today
New Delhi: Preparations for the Lok Sabha elections are in the final stages. The Election Commission can announce the election schedule any time this month. Before this, the parties have started strengthening their forts. The process of announcement of candidates has also started. Many parties have announced many of their candidates and will announce some more now. In this sequence, Bharatiya Janata Party can release the first list of candidates today.
Tickets of many MPs are certain to be canceled
The party has organized a press conference at its central office today at 6 pm. It is believed that the party will release the first list in this. According to sources, there may be names of around 150 candidates in this list. If the party will give tickets to many of its MPs again, then it is considered certain that the tickets of many MPs will also be cut. Before the list was released, two MPs of the party had distanced themselves. This includes Delhi MP Gautam Gambhir and Jayant Sinha, MP from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. Both the leaders have announced this on Twitter.
Names of other senior leaders including PM may be in the first list.
Along with this, it is believed that the names of many other ministers including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari may be included in the first list. Along with this, many sitting MPs can also get a place in this list. From this list it will be known whether the ministers who did not get Rajya Sabha ticket will contest the Lok Sabha elections or not. If you fight, from where and from which seat will you contest? Apart from this, it will also be decided today which big leaders are going to be removed.
