He has condemned the decision of not attending the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram at the Ram temple. In this regard, he wrote on social media site X, ‘Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram is our worshipable God. So it is natural that the faith of countless people across India has been attached to this newly built temple over the years. Some people of the National Congress should maintain distance from that particular kind of statement and respect the public sentiment wholeheartedly.

Congress should have stayed away from taking such political decisions. Let us tell you that a statement was issued by the National Congress, in which the Congress Party said, ‘BJP and RSS have made Ram Temple in Ayodhya a political project for years. A half-built temple is being inaugurated only for electoral gains.
