Exit Poll Results Live Streaming Details | When and where to see exit polls of 5 states

The results of assembly elections in all 5 states will come on December 3.

New Delhi: The journey of voting for the assembly elections held in 5 states of the country, which started from Chhattisgarh on 7th November, will be completed today after voting in Telangana on 30th November. After the end of voting in Telangana, discussion on exit polls will start continuously from 5 pm on India TV. Election Commission had issued notification

Let us tell you that in view of the assembly elections of 5 states, the Election Commission had issued a notification banning the conduct, publication and publicity of ‘exit poll’ from 7 am on November 7 to 6:30 pm on November 30. Voting took place in Chhattisgarh in 2 phases, on 7 November and 17 November. Whereas in Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, people cast their votes on 7 November, 17 November and 25 November respectively. November 30 was fixed as the date of voting for the assembly elections in Telangana.

‘Strict punishment for violating provisions’

Citing the provisions of the electoral law, the Election Commission mentioned that ‘any person, who violates the provisions of this section, can be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with both.’ In view of the Assembly elections in 5 states and Assembly by-election in Nagaland, the Commission has notified the period between 7 am on November 7, 2023 (Tuesday) to 06:30 pm on November 30, 2023 (Thursday) as During which conducting, publishing or publicizing the exit poll through print or electronic media or any other medium will be prohibited.
