Ranchi: Correspondence is continuing between the Enforcement Directorate and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. On one hand, ED issues summons to Soren and calls him for questioning, while Hemant Soren clearly refuses. ED has so far issued 9 summons to Soren but he is ignoring them again and again.

Responding to the ninth summons of ED, the CM has told the agency that he is busy till March 31 and due to this he will not be available for questioning. Let us tell you that in the summons sent to the CM, the ED, which is investigating the case related to the land scam in Badgai area of Ranchi, had asked him to fix any date from 27th to 31st January as per his convenience.

At around 2.30 pm on Thursday, CM Hemant Soren sent his letter in a sealed envelope to the ED’s Airport Road office through his office’s messenger. According to sources, in the letter he has cited his busyness in other important works including the upcoming budget session of the Assembly and has expressed his inability to give time for questioning at present.
