Home Ministry declared Mohammad Qasim Gujjar a terrorist, has links with Lashkar-e-Taiba – India TV Hindi

The Indian government has declared Lashkar-e-Taiba member Mohammad Qasim Gujjar as a terrorist. Qasim is currently living in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. He has been declared a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act i.e. UAPA.

Qasim is involved in terrorist incidents

Issuing the order, the Home Ministry said that Mohammad Qasim Gujjar alias ‘Salman’ alias ‘Sulaiman’ (32 years) has been declared a terrorist because he has been involved in terrorist activities for a long time. He is involved in many terrorist incidents including arms, ammunition, IEDs through drones. Its permanent address is Angrala, Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi, Jammu and currently residing in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Government is tightening the noose on terrorism in Kashmir

Earlier in February, the government had banned two groups of Muslim Conference Jammu and Kashmir for five years for their involvement in anti-India activities and pro-Pakistan propaganda. The government said that both these groups also used to put pressure on people to refrain from participating in the elections. Shah said the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to root out terrorism and anyone involved in illegal activities will face serious consequences.

The Union Home Minister had said in a post on Is done. These organizations have been involved in activities against the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
