Names of candidates approved in BJP Central Election Committee meeting – India TV Hindi

New Delhi: Now only a few days are left for the announcement of Lok Sabha elections and all the political parties are busy finalizing the list of their candidates. In this connection, a high-level marathon meeting of the party’s Central Election Committee was held at the BJP headquarters in Delhi late last night. This meeting lasted for about four hours. PM Modi also reached this meeting at around quarter to eleven in the night and after midnight he came out of the meeting at three in the morning. BJP president JP Nadda and Union ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh attended the meeting.

First list will be released soon

According to sources, the names of the candidates for the first list have been decided in this meeting. The party may soon release the first list of about 150 candidates. Before this marathon meeting, Prime Minister Modi held a separate long meeting with Amit Shah and JP Nadda at the PM residence. According to sources, in this meeting, names of candidates have been finalized for most of the Lok Sabha seats of fifteen states like UP, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi and Tripura. It has also been learned that the first list of BJP candidates will be the most shocking.

Leaders of various states participated in this meeting held at the BJP headquarters, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Goa Chief Minister Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is included. State leaders attend the Central Election Committee meetings when they are considered to decide candidates for the seats in their respective states. According to the information, names of candidates may appear in the first list on the seats where BJP has planned to pay special attention to the seats it lost in 2019.
