Varanasi gets another new train, know the stoppage and timing, when will the booking start?

There is good news for the pilgrims of North and South India. Indian Railways has decided to run a weekly train between Banaras and Kanyakumari. It has been informed by West Central Railway Headquarters Jabalpur that it has been decided to run new train number 16367/16368 Kanyakumari-Banaras-Kanyakumari Kashi Tamil Sangam Weekly Express on 17th December. On the inaugural day i.e. Sunday, 17th December, this train will depart from Kanyakumari at 17:30 pm and on the third day on Tuesday, it will reach Jabalpur at 13.00 pm, Katni at 14.40 pm, Maihar at 15.55 pm, Satna station at 16.15 pm and reach Banaras at 23:35 pm.

Will cover distance of 2500KM

This train will cover a distance of 2500 kilometers. Train No. 16368 Kashi Tamil Sangam Express will depart from Banaras regularly at 16:20 pm on every Sunday from 24 December 2023. The train will reach Satna at 00.15 pm on Monday, Maihar at 00.48 pm, Katni at 01.55 pm, Jabalpur at 03.10 pm and will reach the destination station Kanyakumari at 21.00 pm on Tuesday the next day.

Similarly, in the return direction, train number 16367 Kashi Tamil Sangam Express will depart from Kanyakumari regularly at 20:30 pm on every Thursday from 28 December 2023. On the third day on Saturday, this train will reach Jabalpur at 13.15 pm, Katni at 14.40 pm, Maihar at 15.33 pm, Satna station at 16.00 pm and reach Banaras at 23:35 pm on Saturday night.

Where will the train pass through?

This train en route passes through Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindukkal, Tiruchirapalli, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai, Shirakashi, Chidambaram, Cuddalore Port, Viluppuram, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Arakkonam, Perambur, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, in both directions. It will stop at Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Balharshah, Gondia, Balaghat, Nainpur, Kachhpura, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Chhivki, VHK and Varanasi stations.

There are 22 coaches in the train, out of which 6 are sleepers.

This train will have a total of 22 coaches including 01 AC First Class, 02 AC Second Class, 03 AC Third Class, 03 AC Third Class (Economy), 06 Sleeper Class, 04 General Class, 01 Kitchen Van, 01 SLRD and 01 Brake Van.
