New Delhi: The virtual meeting being held on Saturday regarding the agenda of seat sharing and the post of coordinator is continuing. Pictures of this meeting have surfaced in which Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar and other leaders are seen. According to reports, Aam Aadmi Party President Arvind Kejriwal and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin are also present in the meeting. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is also present in the meeting and his name is in discussion for the post of coordinator of the alliance. Let us inform that while giving information about the agenda of the meeting, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh had said on social media platform

Mamta and Uddhav have kept distance

Let us tell you that two big faces of INDI Alliance, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, have not participated in this meeting. It is being told that while on one hand Uddhav is not backing down from the demand of 23 seats in Maharashtra, on the other hand Mamata Banerjee does not want to be seen with the communist parties at any cost. At the same time, there is doubt about what will be the next step of Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, it seems difficult to get any major result from today’s meeting. There is a strong discussion that JDU is advocating to make Nitish Kumar the convenor, but Trinamool Congress is not in favor of it.

Mamta had put forward Kharge’s name

Let us tell you that in the last meeting of ‘INDIA’ alliance, Mamata Banerjee had advocated the name of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for the post of convenor and Prime Ministerial candidate. At the same time, Mamata and some other leaders had also demanded that the decision on seat distribution in INDI Alliance be taken in the first week of the new year. However, even after two weeks, the distribution of seats has not been done yet, and nothing like this is expected to happen in the next day or two. In such a situation, many political pundits have started raising questions on the future of the alliance. Mamata’s absence from today’s meeting and Uddhav’s keeping distance is also sending a message that everything is not going well in the alliance.
