Recipe to make Urad Dal Khichdi

  1. To make urad dal khichdi, add 2-3 spoons of ghee in the cooker and heat it.

  2. Add cumin, asafoetida, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper and black cardamom and fry on low flame.

  4. After tomatoes melt, add turmeric and mix urad dal and rice in it.

  7. Let it come on high flame for 1 whistle and then switch on 1 whistle to medium flame.

  9. Mix some green coriander in it and take it out in a serving plate.
