Announcement of punishment before elections is a big blow for Imran’s party.
Earlier, PTI founders Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi were given 10-year jail sentence in the Cipher case. This decision of first 10 years imprisonment and now 14 years imprisonment in the second case is being considered as a big blow for Imran Khan who is already in jail. General elections are to be held in Pakistan on February 8, before which this punishment is no less than a deep blow to the election preparations of Imran’s party.
In which case was 10 years imprisonment given?
Imran and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were sentenced in the ‘Sifar’ case. Actually, this cipher case against him is related to national security.
