Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the heads of state of various countries at the COP-28 conference in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). During this period, PM Modi further strengthened India’s relations with other countries. During the conference, PM Modi also met British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. As always, PM Modi’s meeting with Rishi Sunak was warm. During this, he also asked about the well being of PM Rishi Sunak. Sunak also inquired about the well-being of PM Modi. There has been a new and strong beginning in the relations between India and Britain during the tenure of PM Modi and Rishi Sunak. During this tenure, bilateral relations between India and Britain have become much stronger than before.

After meeting PM Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also shared pictures of the conversation on his social media account X. PM Modi wrote that he “had an excellent conversation with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak during the ongoing COP28 summit in Dubai. The strong India-UK friendship will help build a better future for generations to come.”

PM Sunak is very fond of India

Being of Indian origin, UK PM Rishi Sunak is very fond of India and its traditions. He feels proud to be a Hindu. During his visit to New Delhi for the G-20 summit, he had worshiped with his wife Akshata Murthy at the Akshardham temple as per Sanatan tradition. Sunak had told that he celebrates all the Indian festivals like Diwali, Holi, Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Shri Ram Navami, Navratri, Raksha Bandhan with pride. He is continuously taking many friendly steps to strengthen the bilateral relations between India and Britain.
