5 people lost their lives in the fire incident in Benapole Express.
Dhaka: At least 5 people, including 2 children, died and many others were injured after a fire broke out in a train in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka on Friday. According to the information given by the officials, this train was coming from the coastal city of Benapole near the Indian border. He told that this incident has happened 2 days before the general elections in the country which have been boycotted by the main opposition party Bangladesh Nationalist Party. The situation in Bangladesh has been very bad for the last few days and many people have lost their lives due to political violence.
The incident happened on Friday night at 9 pm
According to reports, this incident of arson took place around 9 pm on Friday night, in which 4 bogies of Benapole Express running from Benapole, a city bordering West Bengal, were set on fire. At the time of the incident, the train was near its destination Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka. Rescuers have found bodies of a total of 5 people from the spot. It is being told that a young man lost his life in pulling people out of the burning train. Railway officials said the train was carrying about 292 passengers, most of whom were returning home from India. As soon as the train reached Gopibagh area, it was set on fire.
