Let us tell you that Sandeep is a spin bowler and had also played in the Asia Cup recently. He has also played in IPL for Delhi. In IPL, he was seen playing for Delhi team in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Was on bail in case of raping a minor

Let us tell you that during the hearing held recently, Sandeep Lamichhane was found guilty by Nepal Court in the case of raping a minor. Sandeep has already been arrested in this case. The court had also sent him to pre-trial custody. However, Sandeep was released with a bail amount of Rs 20 lakh. Sandeep, who has played in Big Bash League and IPL, was also banned by the court from participating in foreign leagues.

Nepal Cricket Association had suspended

In early September last year, then Nepal captain Lamichhane was suspended by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) after an arrest warrant was issued against him in Kathmandu in this case. After this, news came that a complaint has been filed against Lamichhane at Kathmandu Police Station. At the time, Lamichhane was in West Indies with Jamaica Tallawahs to take part in CPL 2022. The club later announced that Lamichhane would leave the tournament with immediate effect. He was detained upon landing at the airport in Kathmandu in early October.

Sandeep Lamichhane has played more than 100 international matches for Nepal at the age of just 23. Sandeep, who started his international career in 2018, has taken 112 wickets in the total 51 ODI matches played so far.
