Vibhakar Shastri, grandson of Lal Bahadur Shastri
Lucknow: Vibhakar Shastri, grandson of the country’s former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, has left the Congress and joined BJP. Vibhakar Shastri resigned from Congress today itself and joined Bharatiya Janata Party. Vibhakar Shastri took membership of BJP in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.
On the occasion of joining BJP, Vibhakar Shastri said – ‘I feel that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, I will be able to serve the country by further strengthening Lal Bahadur Shastri’s vision of ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’.
He said, “I want to express my gratitude to PM Narendra Modi, Nadda ji, Amit Shah ji, CM Yogi Adityanath ji and Brajesh Pathak for opening the doors of BJP for me. I feel that I should thank my grandfather Lal Bahadur Shastri ji.” Will get a chance to carry forward the vision of I will work as per the instructions of the party leadership… INDIA alliance has no ideology, rather its aim is to remove Modi ji… Rahul ji should tell what is the ideology of Congress…”
