The recent riots in Banbhulpura area of Haldwani in Uttarakhand have shaken the entire country. Now Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has made a big announcement regarding this entire issue. CM has said that a police station will be constructed on the land freed from encroachment in Banbhulpura area.
What did CM Dhami say?
Taking part in the Nari Shakti Mahotsav, CM Dhami said that the manner in which women policemen and other policemen and journalists were attacked by anarchist elements cannot be condemned enough. CM said that several acres of land from a garden in Banbhulpura has been freed from encroachment. Dhami further said that today I announce from the holy banks of Mother Ganga that a police station will be built at that place.
Police action continues
Six people were killed in the violence in Banbhulpura area of Haldwani. At the same time, more than 100 people were injured. The police is continuously running a campaign to arrest the accused of this violence. Many accused have also been arrested. CM Dhami has said that this type of act will not be tolerated at any cost in Uttarakhand and the police is continuously working to arrest the people who hatched this conspiracy.
