Make tasty and spicy chaat at home from sweet potatoes, know the recipe

Sweet Potato Chaat

Sweet potato is the superfood of winter. By eating sweet potatoes daily, the body gets plenty of fiber. Vitamin A is found in good quantity in sweet potato, which makes the eyes healthy. Sweet potato is beneficial for everyone from children to adults. You can eat sweet potatoes with mild sweet taste by boiling, roasting or making chaat. In winter, you will find sweet potato chaat being sold at most of the tourist places in Delhi from India Gate to Qutub Minar. Light hot and sour sweet sweet potato chaat tastes very tasty. If you want, you can easily make it at home also. Know the easy recipe of making sweet potato chaat.

Ingredients to make Sweet Potato Chaat

  • Sweet Potato- 250 grams
  • Tamarind chutney- 1 spoon
  • Green coriander chutney- 1 spoon
  • Roasted cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala- 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Black salt- 1/4 tsp
  • white salt as per taste
  • Anardana- 2 spoons
  • Lemon juice- 2 spoons

Amla sweet chutney can be prepared in cooker without mixer, note down the recipe.

Recipe to make Sweet Potato Chaat

  1. First of all, wash the sweet potatoes and boil them in the cooker.
  2. For this, add 1/2 cup water and cook for 3 whistles on low flame.
  3. Place several stands on the gas and now roast the boiled sweet potatoes on low flame for 5 minutes.
  4. You have to cook them by turning them upside down, which will give them a roasted taste.
  5. After this, peel the sweet potatoes while still warm and cut them into medium sized pieces.
  6. Put sweet potatoes in a bowl and add all the spices to it and mix.
  7. Now add green chutney and tamarind chutney and add lemon juice and mix everything.
  8. If the sweet potatoes have cooled slightly, heat them slightly in the microwave.
  9. Put sweet potato chaat in a serving bowl and sprinkle some pomegranate seeds on top and serve.
  10. Enjoy the spicy and delicious sweet potato chaat while sitting in the sun.
